Harvey Rottenstrich

President & Chief Engineer

Harvey Rottenstrich is the engineering mind behind ZAGO Manufacturing, delivering the technical knowledge that drives the company’s global reputation for precision and reliability.

As Co-Founder and President, he has dedicated more than three decades to evolving the business from a family-run startup into an internationally respected leader in high-performance sealing fasteners and switch boots, trusted by engineers in aerospace, defense, medical devices, robotics, and renewable energy, among others.

Harvey’s story reflects both technical mastery and entrepreneurial drive. A veteran of the Israeli Air Force, he brings discipline and innovation to everything he builds. He works hand-in-hand with customers and factory teams to ensure every product meets exacting specifications and can endure the toughest conditions.

Harvey also champions sustainable manufacturing practices, helping ZAGO keep its place on the New Jersey Sustainable Business Registry and advance lean, environmentally responsible operations.

A graduate of Monmouth University with a degree in electrical engineering, Harvey launched his career at AT&T in Holmdel, N.J., prior to channeling his passion into advanced manufacturing. Along with his wife Gail Friedberg Rottenstritch, he started ZAGO at the NJIT Enterprise Development Center small business incubator in Newark.

Beyond engineering, Harvey is a devoted husband and father of three. He finds inspiration in nature, often exploring U.S. National Parks on mountain bike or foot. Together with his wife and co-founder, he has built a company defined by innovation, uncompromising quality and a collaborative spirit that drives excellence across high-demand industries.
