Oversized Socket Pan Head Screws

ZAGO Oversized Socket Pan Head Sealing Screws are engineered for applications where secure seating, higher torque capability, and consistent sealing performance are critical. The pan head design features a slightly rounded profile with a wide, flat bearing surface—providing excellent clamping strength while maintaining a practical, low-clearance profile. The internal hex (socket) recess provides superior torque transfer and positive tool engagement, minimizing slippage and allowing for controlled, repeatable installation—especially in applications requiring higher clamp loads.

Unlike lower-profile head styles, the pan head offers a more stable and robust seating surface. This makes it especially effective in applications requiring higher installation torque and uniform compression of sealing elements, ensuring long-term reliability.

The oversized head further increases contact area, allowing clamping force to be distributed more evenly across the surface. This improves gasket compression and enhances sealing integrity—particularly in assemblies exposed to vibration, pressure, or environmental stress.

Each screw is equipped with a 360° rubber O-ring beneath the head. As the fastener is tightened, the O-ring compresses to create a secure, leak-proof seal that protects against water, oil, gas, dust, and other contaminants—ensuring dependable performance in demanding environments.

Key Advantages

  • Superior seating stability for consistent seal compression
  • Higher torque capability compared to low-profile head designs
  • Larger bearing surface for improved load distribution
  • Enhanced sealing reliability under dynamic or high-load conditions
  • Low-profile design suitable for tight or enclosed assemblies
  • Internal hex (socket) drive for high torque transmission and reduced cam-out
  • 360° sealing protection against environmental contaminants
