Guess what day it is? It’s Introduce A Girl To Engineering Day, and ZAGO Manufacturing Co. is doing just that! We invited local elementary school girls to tour our high-tech sealing solutions and components factory in Newark NJ and discuss the role of an engineer and the important contributions they make to society. Our guests also had a chance to test their programming skills on automation equipment. We hope this bird’s eye view of engineering and manufacturing encourages them to explore these fields, and, perhaps, choose a STEM or manufacturing career. In terms of manufacturing, there are presently over 350,000 available positions to choose from in New Jersey. Whatever path they choose, ZAGO proudly supports them!
